Executive profile

Market builder.
Technical translator.

My work has centered on turning complex industrial capabilities into customer adoption, partnerships and commercial growth. I’ve operated across customer-facing engineering, major-account development, business development and regional leadership, with responsibility spanning technical conversations and go-to-market execution.

Having worked across Singapore, the United States and markets throughout the Americas, I’m comfortable bridging different working cultures, industrial expectations and commercial priorities. I build relationships and practical systems that help opportunities move from introduction to execution.

Professional strengths: Americas market development, additive manufacturing commercialization, strategic account relationships, channel partnerships, technical-commercial communication and cross-functional coordination.

Professional experience

Responsibility. Decisions. Results.

The work behind the results: developing regional markets, bringing technical solutions to customers and building commercial relationships that last.

October 2023 — February 2026Americas commercial leadership

Xi’an Bright Laser Technologies (BLT)

Regional Manager (Americas)

Remit. Led regional business development, sales, marketing and operational coordination for industrial metal additive manufacturing across North and South America. The role combined territory strategy, pipeline development, distributor relations and coordination with China-based engineering, manufacturing and leadership teams.

How I contributed.

  • Developed the regional customer and partner base from the ground up, connecting industrial applications with equipment and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Contributed to North American channel development involving GoEngineer (the BLT–GoEngineer partnership was publicly announced in March 2025), and engaged agents and partners in South America.
  • Managed market-facing activities including pricing and commercial discussions, industry events, technical demonstrations and partner development.
  • Coordinated technical, supply-chain and operational requirements between the Americas and the global organization.
Selected results

Achieved US$1 million+ in sales within my first six months at BLT, evidenced by signed customer orders and associated invoices under the agreed commercial terms; second-year sales were four times first-year sales. Represented BLT at industry events including FABTECH, AMUG and RAPID + TCT.

Endeavor 3D

Senior Sales Engineer

Remit. Worked between customers, sales and engineering at an industrial additive manufacturing contract manufacturer, assessing opportunities in polymer and metal production and supporting the path from technical discovery to a viable proposal.

  • Managed 10 national key accounts and worked with industry partners including HP, DyeMansion, BASF and GE Additive.
  • Reviewed incoming applications for technical and commercial viability, including material, geometry, process and production considerations.
  • Supported R&D on design for additive manufacturing, technologies and materials, alongside customer workshops and industry marketing.
  • Supported technical and customer-facing work during Endeavor 3D’s progression to HP Digital Manufacturing Partner status, publicly announced in 2023.
What the role demonstrates

The ability to translate an industrial customer’s requirements into an additive manufacturing application, engineering discussion and commercial decision.

3D Metalforge

Regional Manager

Remit. Combined technical application assessment, commercial development and key-account relationships across marine, oil and gas, defence and industrial markets. Contributed to the company’s Singapore operations and US expansion, including Houston office setup.

  • Managed more than 10 global key accounts and assessed industrial drawings, material requirements, printability and post-processing needs for additive manufacturing.
  • Supported work with PSA on the development of an additive manufacturing facility in a port environment.
  • Helped develop training modules for Nanyang Technological University and represented 3D Metalforge in API 20S and API 20T subcommittee work.
  • Worked on quotation methodologies and integration between pricing tools and manufacturing execution systems.
Selected results

During my first year at 3D Metalforge, company revenue doubled, as recorded in my professional materials. The company subsequently listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2021; the listing is a company milestone, not a result attributable solely to me.

May 2011 — May 2013Air operations

Republic of Singapore Air Force

Air Operations Specialist · 145 Squadron

Served in air operations following Command, Control and Communications training, supporting squadron activities and operational and crew safety. Experience included joint exercises and an overseas detachment at Kalaikunda Air Force Station, India.

Recognized as Outstanding Serviceman of the Month in March 2013. The callsign BULL.S comes from this chapter of my life.

Current direction

Applying the experience more broadly.

After my Americas regional leadership role, I’ve continued exploring industrial market intelligence, practical software and community projects. These independent initiatives draw on the same mix of technical understanding, international experience and hands-on execution developed throughout my career.

The common thread is technical understanding backed by commercial judgment: identifying the right problem, connecting the right people and finding a workable route to delivery. Read more about my current focus.

From responsibilities to outcomes

Where the experience connects.

A selected view of responsibilities and contributions already described in my career history, with more context in the case studies.
