Finding qualified demand
Across the Americas, territory planning and account development meant distinguishing general interest in metal additive manufacturing from a plausible industrial application and a credible buying process.
How I helped establish a regional customer and distribution network for metal additive manufacturing—from initial market engagement to measurable commercial growth.

Industrial additive manufacturing is an international business, but adoption happens one customer, distributor and qualified application at a time. BLT brought a vertically integrated metal AM offering spanning powders, equipment, contract manufacturing and R&D. My role was to develop market presence and commercial relationships across North and South America.
Building a regional business requires more than introducing a machine. Customers need a technical reason to consider the technology, local partners who can support them, and confidence that a manufacturer can deliver across geographical and operational boundaries.
As Regional Manager (Americas), I led business development, sales, marketing and operational coordination for the region. The scope included territory planning, account development, distribution partnerships, customer-facing technical discussions and alignment with the China-based organization.

Distributor and partner activity—including contributions associated with the publicly announced BLT–GoEngineer relationship—needed to be coordinated with customer expectations. The announcement does not establish who personally signed an agreement.
The remit connected pricing, technical support, supply-chain questions, events and commercial proposals between Americas customers and BLT teams based in China.
US$1 million+ in sales within my first six months at BLT, evidenced by signed customer orders and associated invoices. Second-year sales were four times first-year sales, alongside development of an Americas customer and partner base.
The first-six-month figure reflects my professional account of USD-denominated signed customer orders and invoiced sales under the relevant contract terms; orders and their corresponding invoices are not added together as separate transactions. This is not presented as recognized revenue. The fourfold comparison is explicitly second-year sales against first-year sales. These historical sales figures are reported from my own career records and approved for publication by me; they are not forecasts, audited company financial statements or claims about current BLT performance.
Regional Manager (Americas); market planning, sales, account development, channel relationships and cross-border coordination.
BLT and GoEngineer announced a distribution relationship in March 2025; this is a corporate milestone.
First-six-month US$1M+ signed-order/invoice sales and second-year sales at 4× first-year sales are from my professional record. Corresponding orders/invoices are not counted twice; recognized revenue is not established. Customer terms remain private.
A public corporate announcement does not independently substantiate an individual career claim or constitute endorsement.
The central work was connecting product capability with regional market realities: which customers had plausible use cases, what partners were needed, how to present the business case, and how to coordinate delivery expectations across borders.
Commercial specifics, contract terms and individual customer information are not published here. This is an account of my work during employment, not a statement issued or endorsed by BLT or its partners.
